About Female Rejuvenation
Through the side effects of menopause, aging, and childbirth, the skin and tissue of the outer and inner vagina can become lax, causing functional or cosmetic issues. Nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation with Votiva uses radiofrequency (RF) heat to carefully deliver energy to the inside of the vaginal wall. Votiva stimulates the growth of collagen, which in turn strengthens the vaginal skin's resilience and elasticity. At The Lubbock Plastic Surgery Institute, we also offer the innovative O-Shot® technique, which utilizes platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) in order to boost female sexual health and experience. By using platelets from your own blood, the O-Shot can allow for improved orgasms for women.
Both Votiva and the O-Shot are exciting, scalpel-free, rejuvenating options to help restore appearance and confidence and treat some medical concerns. To find out more about female rejuvenation, schedule a consultation at The Lubbock Plastic Surgery Institute/the MedSpa at LPSI in Lubbock, TX or Midland, TX.

Procedure Techniques
The Votiva procedure can be completed in our office in about 30 minutes. No anesthesia is generally needed for the treatment. During the procedure, a wand-shaped handpiece will be slowly and carefully inserted into your vagina as it emits controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy to the tissues and other internal structures to promote the production of collagen, which tightens the area. The wand contains a built-in thermometer so that the temperature can be monitored and manipulated as necessary to prevent burning or injury. Most patients compare the pain-free procedure to a pap smear and report very little discomfort.
For the O-Shot, the treatment will begin with having some blood drawn from your arm. Next, the blood will be placed in a centrifuge in order to separate the PRP or PRFM from the other components in the blood. For the second part of the procedure, the PRP or PRFM solution will be injected into the G-spot, clitoris, and upper vaginal area to restore proper functionality. The entire treatment is quick with little discomfort and no real downtime afterward.
What to Expect
The only downtime is no sexual activity for 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does female rejuvenation cost?
Both Votiva and O-Shot sessions are priced according to your specific needs. Our team realizes that this procedure is an important process for many women as they gain back their confidence and improve the look, feel, and function of their most intimate areas. Therefore, we work with our patients on flexible payment plans and financing so they can afford and achieve the results they need and desire.
Does vaginal rejuvenation work?
Vaginal rejuvenation can improve vaginal laxity. It may also help with overall sexual dysfunction due to dryness, looseness, and other issues. It may also help improve the aesthetic look and feel. More and more women are turning to this procedure because of its outstanding outcomes and minimal recovery downtime.
Does female rejuvenation treat loose skin?
Nonsurgical female rejuvenation is recommended for women who seek a higher degree of vaginal tightness within the vaginal walls. Events, such as childbirth, a massive weight loss, or even aging, can strain the internal muscles and create laxity, which can be improved with this treatment. Women who have loose skin, such as an oversized or stretched labia majora, may be better candidates for a surgical procedure, such as labiaplasty. This cosmetic surgery procedure removes the excess skin along the inner or outer labia for a more pleasing aesthetic appearance.
What is the recovery from vaginal rejuvenation?
During your consultation, we will discuss with you how many sessions it will take to get the best results. There is little pain and no downtime associated with Votiva or the O-Shot. You should be able to resume your day as normal after the appointment. We do recommend refraining from using tampons or engaging in sexual intercourse for several days after the treatment to allow the treated area to properly heal.
