The Buddy Holly Center
The life and music of music legend Buddy Holly is honored by his hometown in Lubbock’s Buddy Holly Center. Visitors can enjoy viewing the many exhibits chronicling Buddy Holly’s early years in Lubbock to his rise to fame and tragic death in the guitar-shaped gallery. Visitors can also learn about other musicians and artists from West Texas that have influenced Lubbock’s culture and the upcoming artists and musicians who are ready to change everything. The Buddy Holly Center also features classes and workshops in art and music to encourage everyone to try something new and enjoy creating something beautiful.
